The accident

One night, me and my sister were driving to a party. We started to turn the music up. We weren’t concentrating on the road my sister was driving. We couldn’t see anything it was all darkness. All of a sudden we saw two lights coming at us we screamed. Then I woke up but I wasn’t in the car I was in hospital suddenly the pain in my arm grew bigger. All I could think about was my little sister so I asked the nurse can I see my sister. She said “i’m sorry she’s dead”

I cried and cried.

  1. This is a great story Mollie and I want to know more about her sisters injury.
    How did she die?
    What was going on?
Would you ever get over your sister?
What do you think will happen to you?
    Well done! 🙂

  2. Hello Mollie,

This could be a very true tragic story. Some inattention on the road while talking or listening to loud music, poor lighting at night and bad road conditions can all contribute to a road accident. It’s sad to say these events do happen and, for some, waking in hospital only to find a loved one has been lost can be real. Well done.

I see Niamh was interested to know more but it would be hard to give too many details in 100 words. Perhaps you might share a longer version with her. I hope you keep entering the 100WC. 🙂

  3. This is a very sad story Mollie – where did you get the inspiration from? You are continuing to show an improvement with your use of punctuation but do keep checking – you know you can do this when you take your time!
