I like blogging because you can share your work with other people and
you can look on each others work and help them improve it .
Blogging is fun!
Dear Mr Connor,
I feel that I am the preferable candidate to have my own blog because I believe this will be a beneficial learning experience; I can get feedback and constructive criticism from a wider range of people making my writing more advanced and improving my perspective and interpretation of writing.
I will attempt to make regular updates and make each visit to my blog worth while. I also will always be looking for new ways to improve my blog and insure my posts are of the highest quality. I will have the chance to broadcast my work and develop a larger array of Technics and styles. I will relish my rare opportunity to be creative and make a unique reading experience for anybody that visits my blog.
Not only will I benefit from a blog but also the school blogs will be given an advantage; I will assist in publicising the blogs with links and tags helping to promote our schools’ learning.
To conclude, I should receive a class blog because: it will aid me in gaining skills and developing my brain;I will refurbish my site frequently and make intriguing posts that were well thought through and advertise schools work.
Dear Mr Connor,
I think I should have my own blog because it will give me chance to really understand the reason of the blog and let people see my work with out having to go from page to page. I would go on it when ever I have chance to go on the Internet and for about 45 minutes. I want to improve my writing and if I have my own blog I will definitely improve.
Dear Mr Connor,
I am writing to you to tell you how vital it is that I get my own blog.
Firstly,if I get my own blog it would help me to improve my work and it would give me an amazing chance to show off my story’s .This could help me extremely in later life as I would love to become an author .
Secondly, I would put a link on the side of my blog to advertise stjosephsblogs.net to get more visitors on our school blog from all around the globe.
Thirdly, all the posts I have produced are at a good quality if I had my own blog I would produce even more work at the same high quality. To make readers from everywhere want to read more.
Also I have assess to a laptop or computer at my house meaning I have alot of equipment that could easily get to my blog which means I would be able to update my blog every night so my readers would not get bored.
If I got a blog I would insure: it is always updated; the posts are good quality and everything put on it would be interesting
Thank you for reading.
Dear Mr Connor
I should get a blog because I would use my blog for things what do and share work what I have done.I would put lots of photos on and make it brilliant.I would do good work and let people comment on my work.I would go on my blog every five times a week and I will say thank you for commenting on my blog.I should be givin a blog because I will things what are interesting so people can put nice comments on my work.
These are the two reasons why I should have my own blog. Look below.
Reason one: I post posts onto the year 5 blog as often as I can and I constantly check the year 5 blog and respond where needed as quickly as possible. I think it’s a fantastic, modren way to keep up to date with what’s going on and it is definitely the way foward.
Reason two: If I get my own blog I can share my experiences and feelings with others and encouarge them to do the same. Also I can show people that are unsure how to do it. I am confident with blogging and feel that my experiences and thoughts will be of interest to other people.

Dear Mr Connor,
Firstly, I will update it every night and it will help me share even more of my work and what I have achieved at school or any work that I have done at home.It will also give me a chance to spread what I have learnt about the outside world. It will help to improve on my work in many different ways because of peoples comments.
I would post more than once a day and it would give me more of a chance to use flikr and on my own blog I could be as creative as I want I would be able to tell the whole world what I have done every day at school or out of school.
I would like my own blog because I would try to update every night and I will blog more often. It world be a really great opportunity to share my work around the world and through out my family and friends. For example today my football team lost 3-1 against alvostion boys. I scored from about the half way line but it was a really lucky goal. After the match I got man of the match. This is why I want my own blog.
Dear Mr Connor,
I am writing to you to give you some reasons of why I should have my own blog.
Firstly, I have already made thirty six topics so just imagine how many I would do if I had my own blog. If I had my own blog I would blog about what I do in school, what I do outside of school, accomplishment I achieve and my pets and family.
Secondly, I would use It all the time I would try to do at least one blog post a day, that would be seven blog posts every week. Also in each blog post I would try to include a link detailed information and if possible a photograph.
Thirdly, I would reply to as many comments as I can. After I had do a blog post I would check for comments and reply.
If i had my own blog I would try to do at least one blog post a day, I would blog about what I do in school, what I do outside of school, accomplishment I achieve and my pets and family and I would reply to as many comments as I can. That’s what I would do if I had my own blog.
Dear Mr Connor,
I would appreciate it if I could have my own blog.
Firstly, I will update it every day. I will put lots of interesting things on there and also look at lots of other people’s blogs.
Secondly, I will be very creative with what I do on there
Thirdly, I know I can blog lots and can make my blog very good. I will go to see anyone’s blog and comment. I would also like my very own blog because I would love to show what I am learning and doing and I would love to see people’s feedback when they comment.
I hope you will think about choosing me to have my very own blog because one, I would like to show off my work, two, I would love to see what people think about my blog and three I will update it every day.
I think I should have my own blog because I am getting a laptop so I will be updating more and more stuff every day. Also I am very in to being a blog owner because I think this job is fit for me and it would be nice to see peoples comments and publish. If I do get the job I would be very proud to set it up. I think it would be good to show off my work to the whole wide world.
thank you for reading.
I am writing to say why I should have my own blog.
Firstly, if you give me a blog I would write about everything that has happened in lessons and all that I have leaned. If im on holiday I would even write about what it looks like!I would write about the shows and when the dates are.
Secondly, I know I hardly ever use the Y5 blog but if you give me my own I will be on it all the time. It will be crammed full of ideas news and what I have learned. All the posts will be from me. I will try to do as much posts as possible.
Finnaly, It will be a dream come true and how would you feel if one person had a blog but you did not, wouldn’t you feel like a rain cloud was sitting above you? If I dont get a blog, will you please make a dancing, singing and drama blog.
Thank you for spending your time listening.
On Thursday morning, we were talking about what we like about our blog. Here is a word cloud to help explain our favourite features:
We also talked about how and why people visit our blog. Rene said that it was nice that people chose to leave comments, while Javine and Joe W talked about how people come from worldwide. How do they find us?
Two of the ways we promote our blog are through Quadblogging and by using Twitter. Twitter is a tool that we use to tweet our learning and send links to our followers if we have an interesting or exciting blog post. We wondered how far one tweet could go, so decided to ask people to retweet it (pass the message on). Look at these results!
Look at that! Over 5000 people have mentioned you! I have now closed the tweet and will talk to you all about it when we return after a week off. In the meantime, here are where some of the tweets came from.
View Who read our tweet? in a larger map
Remember that Twitter is not a site that should be used by children – we only use in school because an adult can look after the account.
Also, bear in mind that this is your potential audience – as we discussed, your blog is for you to show off and share your learning. You could have people from all over the world reading your work. Always make it your best.
Stay safe over half term.
Mr Connor 🙂
