Today I took my 3 week old cousin, Seth, on a walk.I was so excited because it was the first time I have ever took him on a walk.I had to take turns with my cousin and my sister,Chiara to push it but my Auntie had to push him across the road then when we got back to my Aunties we all got to hold him.I also moved some bricks for her because when we got back some bricks got delivered also my two cousins helped, my sister and my brother did too.my brother got six at a time my little cousin one at a time, me, my sister an my cousin carried two or three at a time.I had to help my little cousin lift them up and put them down.
My holiday has been really fun so far. Here it is.
On monday it was my mum’s birthday, so we went to the butterfly farm and falconry centre in Sheffeild. It was like a mini zoo and the animals were beautiful. My favorite animals were the meerkats, because they are cute and I enjoyed feeding them. The butterfly bit of it was a massive greenhouse, but there wasn’t just butterflies. There were colourful birds, insects, and there was a noctournal part where it was all dark and snakes, tarantulas and bugs were all in glass cages. It was really nice there.
On tuesday me and my sister went to hickory dickories with my friends. It was very busy there because it is half term. My sister met her friend there and they started chasing us.
On wednesday we went for a cycle in the freezing cold. At the end we got hot drinks though.
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday so far.
During the half term my sister and I have been skiing. This is one of my favourite sports, the thrill of rushing down mountain sides, whizzing around bends. The reason for my enjoyment for the sport must be from my parents, who are both skilled skiers. Though in derby it is difficuit to find real mountains to ski down, we still enjoy skiing at Snow Dome where they have real snow espeialy made for skiers, snowboarders and other winter sports.
I am going to tell you what I have done so far in Oxford. Well, the first whole day I spent in Oxford was fun because, me and my mum walked my granny’s dog Penny to the field and the dog loved that very much! So, on Monday the 29th October, it’s my cousins birthday. Already my half term has been full of things to do!
