In 2011, I went to Scotland and York. It was such a great experience. I went to Scotland to see my brother because he lives there. I went into Edinburgh Castle and it was very amazing. I had loads of fun!
After I went to Scotland I travelled to York. York is a place with lots of little cobbled streets and one beautiful Cathedral. Here are some pictures of my short break! Look below.
I ran behind the dust bin. I was familiar of my surroundings. It was almost as if I had been away long enough to forget my home town. I tiptoed around the place not knowing if I was going mad. The clouds were starting to turn white and fluffy as the sun peaked out of the grey. I had forgotten everything. Where was my home? I had no shelter. A little further I could walk on the streets. I saw a house that I thought I saw before. I ran onto the lush grass and saw what? A key. A key!
Hi, my name is Lucy. I have golden blond hair and blue eyes. My favourite sport is swimming and gymanstics. My mum is called Laura and my dad is called John. My brothers are called Jake and Michael and my sister is called Gerogie. I have 4 cats and 1 dog. My cats are called Angel, Pringle, Thackery and Rambo. My dog is called Doug.
Doug my puppy loves the snow. He could play in it all day. He gets his nose under neath the snow and then he shovels it all up! Then he goes mental becuse it’s wet and Golden Retrievers love the water. Here are some photos of Doug in the snow. Look below.
My name is Lucy.I am 9 years old. My birthday is on the 17th April and my favourite food is chicken casserole. The things I like to do after school are, playing with people on my street, swimming, gymnastics and drawing. My favourite hobby is drawing because I do random drawings and then I make out what they are. It’s really strange. I have 4 cats called, Angel, Pringle, Thackery and Rambo. I also have 1 dog called Doug. My favourite subjects are, art, literacy, english and ict. The thing I am looking foward to is my birthday becuse I will be 10 years old. There are some pictures of my pets below.
Last year I went to France in August. We walked on the beach, relaxed and enjoyed the sunny weather. We also went to the swimming pool and had lots of fun there. I am looking foward to going back there in easter. Here are some pictures of my holiday home and the slides in the same area as the swimming pool.
In 2011, I went to London for my dads birthday. We had lots of fun. We visited the London eye and I bought a jumper that said on it, I Love London! Even though it was my dads birthday, we went to Hamleys. Here are some photos of my trip 2011. Some of the photos were taken on the London eye.
Today I went on a country side walk. It was an adventure. We walked through a deep, thick, oozing bog. My wellies were filthy after the walk. Doug was also covered in mud from head to toe and had to have a bath when he got home. Here are some photos of my big walk.
A couple of weeks ago, the vet said that our puppy Doug was allowed to go on walks around the park. The first walk we took him on was so special to me because that means he is growing up so fast! When we go on walks, Doug is very adventurous. Nearly every time we go on walks, he picks up a huge stick up in his mouth! It’s so funny because it’s this little puppy with a massive stick in his mouth. I will send some photo’s on the blog later.
This Christmas was one of the best. I got plenty of gifts and lots of cards. Every year on 5th January, my family always take all of the Christmas decorations down and it’s very heart breaking. Here is a photo of my Christmas day. Look below!
Last week, the children made their chocolates that they had been planning for quite some time!
Today, they began using their Literacy skills to plan a persuasive presentation which will take place on Thursday. Using a speech, a poster and a slideshow, the children must convince the dragons (the teachers!) that their chocolate is the most unique.
On Saturday 1st December I put my beautiful Christmas tree up in my living room. It has about 100 baubles on it! My favourite of which is a shiny, green, tartan one. It is made of extremely fine glass, so it is very fragile. Here is a picture of my Christmas tree. Look below.
On wednesday 14th of november, I got my gorgeous puppy Doug. He has very fluffy fur and a very bright personality! He loves dry dog food by the Royal Canin. He hates the hoover and he loves chasing the cats! Here is a very cute picture of him below!
I have some very important news to tell you. In 9 days I will come back from school, walk in the front door and then I will hear a little bark! The type of dog I am getting is a Golden Retriever. His name is going to be called Doug and on Sunday’s he will be called Dougless. The lady we are getting the puppy from sent us new photos 2 days ago, and he looks massive now! The first time I went to see him for the first time, he was so small, but I suppose the grow faster than you think. When I get him I will blog about him and put some photos on as well.
I am going to tell you what I have done so far in Oxford. Well, the first whole day I spent in Oxford was fun because, me and my mum walked my granny’s dog Penny to the field and the dog loved that very much! So, on Monday the 29th October, it’s my cousins birthday. Already my half term has been full of things to do!
