Our temple run story

The helicopter turbulently jerked forward ;the crumbling engine uncontrollably exploded into life. This is terrible!I couldn’t see anything even though my eyes were being forced open.I landed down.A mysterious wind shadowed out all the light and clouded my thoughts. But then, through all the mist,I see something glimmering. What is it?I can’t tell what it is?My hand gently reaches out  and touches it.OWWW it was the blade of the helicopter. Then I thought of something:where is the driver?I  hesitate, if I get up I could die.I began to look for him.

Where am I? This place is full of eyes of horror. I am being watched but who or what by? I ran not knowing up from down. Something strange is going on around this unknown place. All that was on my mind was who or what it was? I stopped worrying and carried on. My heart was pounding because I didn’t know where I was going. Something moved like lightning, I looked but I say nothing. Should I hide? I looked up.I saw my escape. A door wide open that I can dash into. I ran into the little room but the door had no lock so I thought I just going to keep hold…..

I can’t get away from this place. There are too many thoughts racing around my head and they won’t go away. Out of the blue, something caught my eye. The beautiful shimmering idol. I reached out to grab it when I  heard a noise. I can’t believe it. As the noise came near I sprinted with all my might. I feel the warmth of the monkeys getting closer to me. Is this the end? It can’t be, can this be real? It felt like all the blood rushed to my head as I raced out the doorway.

Suddenly they caught up with me and I lost it. The monkeys were crazy, what were they doing? When I turned around I saw them jumping at me trying to scratch me. I was so scared all I could do was run. As I ran I thought that the monkeys would stop chasing me but they won’t. I was nervous I was wondering will I live or die? I think I have a plan. Climb up a tree and hide. I’m Guy dangerous I don’t run away, or do I? Let’s find out.

Earth veered from under my feet, showering the portentous pools below.I could feel the agony in my body strudling. I felt sweat dripping down my face.My heart is pumping with fear. I could feel  something  nibbling my feet while I was looking for safety. It was something so strong that it has the ability to. My feet are torn away from solid grow, with it my hope .I thought I died. The air brushes against my bone – chilling my face! I knew that it was the end . No it wasn’t, I was surprised to see i’m alive. Or maybe i’m dead?Water laid at my  body a  familiar  face hovered above me.

My 100WC

I rode in an ebony ferrari. It darted round the motorway: this was a car that sneered at speed limits.

I looked outside. The orche sun illuminated  the sky as well as the atmosphere.I allowed myself revel in my own world.I see me lying in the sun as long as the sun maintained its heat.BUMP,the car takes a sudden jerk obliterating my thoughts. I just relaxed and let the sun sustain its heat. The  taupe thick trees trunk loomed over me watching me, protecting me.

BOOM!.I feel a searing pain in my arm.Suddenly the pain in my arm turned lethal…

A maths investigation

Today in our maths class were solving an investigation from nrich. We had to fill in a disk box with different colours, but make sure we put them in the right place and have the right amount of colours. We also had to work out how big the space where the booklet goes.If we got it wrong this would mean we would get the whole investigation wrong. This would mean ‘trial and error’ which was a key thing that was needed.

Here is the link to the investigation.

Macbeth and Lady Macbeth

We have been studying Shakespeare’s Macbeth and today we had a brilliant discussion about the lead character and his wife, Lady Macbeth.

We discussed the personalities of each character and lots of us have changed our minds about Macbeth. What do you think of him now?

Finally, we acted out a small role-play between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Have a listen and see what you think – how has Lady Macbeth tried to influence her husband? What is your opinion of her?

The Invisible Spirit

This is a poem I wrote I hope you like it!

It’s face,transparent but horrible

It’s scream,silent but deafening

Waiting for the chance to freeze my soul and call it hers

Waiting for my eyelids to go heavy

Waiting for my first dream

Waiting for me to give in to my aches and pains

Waiting for my candle to die

100wc -The Shadow

As I went on a l amble round my caravan. I looked up at the sky and thought , deep into the charcoal-swirl sky I wondered about all them things  could be out there.A car came darting down almost running in to me .I gave a high pitched squeal what was to become of my future?

The car stopped suddenly.I felt a sheering pain in my hip .I put my hand there it was soaked in a scarlet mixture. This made the pain even worse.I looked up I saw a figure that looked like a shadow driving the car.I only knew one thing it was not human!

Why I feel I should get my own blog.

Dear Mr Connor,

I am writing to you to tell you how vital it is that I get my own blog.

Firstly,if I get my own blog it would help me to improve my work and it would give me an amazing chance to show off my story’s .This could help me extremely in later life as I would love to become an author .

Secondly, I would put a link  on the side of my blog to advertise  stjosephsblogs.net to get more visitors on our school blog from all around  the globe.

Thirdly, all the posts I have produced are at a good quality if I had my own blog I would produce even more work at the same high quality. To make readers from everywhere want to read more.

Also I have assess to a laptop or computer at my house meaning I have alot of equipment that could easily get to my blog which means I would be able to update my blog every night so my readers would not get bored.

If I got a blog I would insure: it is always updated; the posts are good quality and everything put on it would be interesting

Today at school,we learned all about the 7/7 bombing. This was a tragic event that happened on the 7th July 2005.People took into London on their backs bombs and set them of in the underground and London buses.Their were four men that did this and did it for there beliefs. They strapped bombs to their backs and let them of so it killed them so they could go up to their God.They believed that their God would thank them.  Unfortunately, 52 people  died and 700 were injured. This is a prayer I wrote:

Dear Lord,

Please let them that sadly died rest in peace.Help their family to get over their mourning,Help them to stay strong and have hope. Please help them who were injured regain their courage. Also, help them who are suffering because of terrorist attacks today.

My 100 Word Challenge

It was pancake day ; I felt like I needed to have one. Unfortunately I have not be allowed any.As I saw the pancake grow in the pan I began to fidget. My sister was showing off flipping the pancake this way and that. Then my mum wanted a go…

Mum flipped the pancake but it landed on the ceiling! Then disaster struck. My grandma walked in ,right under the pancake.I saw the pancake coming of the ceiling my teeth gritted. I was so scared ,I tried everything : “please come over here, look at this,” but I could not get her to budge .Then the pancake fell. Oh no!

Great Fire of London: eyewitness accounts

On Friday we were refreshing our memories about the Great Fire of London – why, when, how and where it started, as well as exploring the reasons why it spread so quickly.

We worked in pairs to interview characters who were there on those fateful days in 1666. Some children wanted to be Samuel Pepys, others were Thomas Farriner, while there was some great role-playing and imagination from children who put themselves into the situation.

Can you guess who is who?

Cautiously ,I take a step towards the light ahead of me.It was like the gleaming sun was hidden in the trees but it did not produce the same warmth inside me. What is it? was the only thing I could think.I began to scarper towards the light. The light suddenly faded, I was stuck in the middle of living hell!A few seconds later I saw something, a cloaked figure emerging from the mist…
